Review : Mr.Bean's Holiday (2007)

DOES HE NEED AN INTRODUCTION??????

Here comes the "Universal Comedian" (not yet patented.......its my title for him).......everyone knows that this guy (Hon.Mr.Rowan Atkinson) can make anyone laugh right from the age of 1 to 99 (or maybe even higher like infinity.......ok sorry bad joke).......he does this in this movie too...

i think this movie is a better choice than spiderman 3 though......the whole family might enjoy only if you see it in theatre or in a good quality home video........i saw it the second way......

Mr.Bean is back with a bang into movies from his previous movie exactly a decade ago.....
his earlier movie (as Mr.Bean) was "Bean : The Ultimate Disaster Movie (1997)"......that was a very good movie......and this movie also lives upto its expectations.......

there is no funny part in the movie........the whole movie is funny........





the movie is an out and out comedy movie.........rowan has acted superbly........he has shown some of his acting talent......acts out his sentimental scenes very nicely......

the one scene in which he comes in disguise as a granny is cool.......

so people, i suggest you watch this movie.......it will be a very good feast to the eyes.....in the sense....the lush green fields are very pleasant to the eyes.......


the background music had been done well.........just appropriate to the scenes.....

the introduction of mr.bean is very good.........for only those who have been watching his TV series.......

STORYLINE : the movie opens with Mr.Bean attending a "RAFFLE" (check the dictionary...i am not very familiar with this word).......he wins a trip to Europe.......he brings his "great" digital video camera with him and shoots almost "everything" with it........he then boards a train to paris (the train is amazing actually).....he asks one guy(he is actually a famous director going to "CANNES" film festival..........it is revealed at the end) to shoot a video of himself.....the guy misses the train though mr.bean gets in.........then he finds that the guy had brought along his son also with him who is left alone in the train.......his father then tells him to get down at the next stop........unfortunately mr.bean also gets down at the next stop........by mistake........and is not be able to get back into the train.......then the boy's father comes in another train.......which unfortunately doesn't stop at that particular station........so he writes down his telephone number in a chart and shows it to the boy........he writes down only 8 numerals and will not be able to write down the last two numbers.......then mr.bean with his amazing brain writes down all sorts of combinations of the next two numerals in the phone number........he wastes all of his money and also loses his passport......after this what ever happens is...............DISASTER.......check it out your self.............


BOTTOM LINE : All the TRUE Mr.Bean fans will have a very good time........
DISASTER has a passport........


so i recommend you people to watch the movie.....

and to those people who will be anxious to know where i saw the movie....as it hasn't released yet in chennai....my close friends.......will surely know the answer..........
