Review : Pirates Of The Caribbean At World's End (2007)

This Trilogy is so far, the next best trilogy to Lord Of The Rings.It is because no one gets disappointed on seeing any of the 3 movies.

I Still don't understand why the distributors postponed the release to june 1 in India.I heard they feared of spiderman 3.but my opinion is that this movie is a 100 times better than spiderman 3 and the trilogy too is far more entertaining than spidey.

The first half was a certain drag, though there were important scenes in it.they could have edited it well or made it even more interesting.i frankly believe that it is hard to understand the movie by watching it once.though i figured it out quite properly.

The movie can't be said as a total let down but it surely entertains us to the max.

The Background score,the camera work,graphics (in the scenes of multiple jack sparrows) everything has to be given full credit.Mainly the story part,they never went out of it,stuck on to the script not showing extraordinary and unbelievable twists.

I Wonder why many people didn't come to watch it,was it due to the postponed release that many people thought of watching pirates movie in a pirated VCD/DVD.That doesn't become legal in this case.



Coming to the main person,Mr. or Capt.Jack Sparrow (Isn't that COOL),the most down to earth actor in Hollywood i have ever seen.I don't think anybody could even replace his role in the movie.I consider him as the "Kamal Hassan" of Hollywood.

The Movie is worth watching not once but more than once.(sounds awkward)

STORYLINE : I am not quite sure of it but let me not spoil your wait for watching the movie.
In few words, Capt.Jack Sparrow comes back and with a bang,new characters get introduced and existing characters get to have unforeseen "truths" in their roles.Davy Jones and his love, both are destroyed.New captain of the sea is christened (of course because of jack sparrow).And more importantly stop waiting for a fourth movie because they can't drag it anymore.


ON THE WHOLE, it is a Awesome entertainer which of course most likely cannot be watched with the whole family not only due to the scenes which run through your mind while reading these lines but also due to the violence and "yucky" characters.

FINAL VERDICT : Must watch for Johnny Depp fans

Third Best Trilogy after Lord of the Rings and The Matrix



NOTE : The following paragraph is only for the people who live in chennai and watch this movie in english and also before june 15.

And the most important thing not to miss in the movie was the trailor of our tamil "Superstar" Rajni's SIVAJI.well,we cheered for this trailer and we had plans not to miss it even before we thought of buying the tickets for the movie but then we saw it on the big screen and enjoyed it shouting to the core.we were also shown trailers of upcoming worthwatching movies such as "Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix" scheduled to release in july and also not to forget the next Disney-Pixar combine " " (sorry can't spell the movie).
