Review : Sivaji (2007)

I don't know whether i can express all my feelings about the movie in writing but i suggest you people that when you are going to watch the movie you have to have a different mindset.A mindset of enjoyment and telling your brain not to think that the movie sans logic.

Though the movie has unbelievable stunts which will literally make you laugh when you see any other hero performing it but don't forget that in this movie the hero is our SUPERSTAR.

The movie is fun to watch and i didn't get bored watching it 2 times in fact i have decided my third trip to the theater to watch the movie.

So i suggest you people to watch the movie in the theater and experience the ambience.

I have given a rating of 4 stars which doesn't mean that the movie deserves an oscar or any kind of award except that of "Best Hype Creator".The movie was expected with a lot of hype and our superstar doesn't fail to deliver it.He has put in his 100% efforts in order to satisfy not only his fans but also others.



Director Shankar has tried to attract the fans of two big young heroes of tamil cinema,"Ultimate Star" Ajith and "Ilayathalapathy" Vijay by rendering a famous dialogue and dancing for the hero's song respectively.

The cinematographer K.V.Anand needs an applause for his beautiful picturisation of songs and fight scenes.

Art Director Thotta Tharani's experience is seen in the movie through his sets.

The background music is just amazing.no wonder why the "ARR" tag is so valuable.

Vivek has done a fabulous job.all his dialogues got the audience laughing instead of giving an awkward look.

Shriya is the right choice for the heroine.she is so beautiful though only with make up.


NOTE: The following is just the basic storyline of the movie and doesn't reveal any other interesting sequences in the movie.

STORYLINE : Sivaji returns from USA after earning a lot of money.He is very astonished to see big buildings in Chennai but after seeing a beggar on the road,he learns that still poverty hasn't gone from India.So he invests all his money to start "Sivaji Foundations" which will run schools,hospitals,colleges,etc and provide service to people free of cost.The "king maker" of Chennai gets to know this and fears that his industries,schools,colleges will suffer badly if sivaji continues the project.So he decides to take everything from sivaji and make him come to the middle of the street(literally translated from tamil).After this whatever happens is exciting and thrilling and...... sorry no words to describe.
Why not you people watch it in the theater and find it yourself.


Verdict : Everyone is at their best in this blockbuster movie.Worth watching twice just for fun and time pass.Make sure you go to the movie with your friends so that you can enjoy it more.
